Community spirit and corporation is vital to create a sense of belonging and pride in your town. Here in Hacketstown we have both in bundles. Whether it is coming together to put on a race such as “Break for the Border”, organise a town clean up, run the annual “Elvis Festival”, volunteer with the local GAA, Community Games, Tidy Towns, Day Care Centre, join the athletics club, support local businesses and much more the people and businesses of Hacketstown come out in full force.

The lovehacketstown website is a way of showcasing our town both internally to the community and externally to a much wider audience. With over 40 businesses in Hacketstown, new accommodation, camping site and our connection to the Wicklow Way, there is huge potential for tourism, new businesses, housing and developing our beautiful town.

As part of the development of the lovehacketstown brand we have asked local companies to get involved and become sponsor of the month on the website. Their donation goes towards the upkeep and running of the website and promotional campaigns for Hacketstown. Again there is no shortage of companies willing to make this work and support their town.
