CREATIVITY, talent, humour and some very impressive flips! Coláiste Eoin, Hacketstown certainly has some moves, as students and teachers enthralled audiences over three nights recently with their impressive Lip Sync Show.
Taking popular hits and making them their very own, the talent was off the charts, with some superb acting and dancing throughout.
This was the school’s much-anticipated first post-Covid Lip Sync Show, and as a testament to the excitement about the popular event’s return, tickets sold out immediately.
Students showcased their talents and excelled as they performed over the weekend. In fact, the show proved so popular that an extra performance was added on Monday evening to the delight of audiences.
It was a fantastic occasion for the 300-plus students who took part, all bright and enthusiastic throughout the three nights. All students had the opportunity to display their wide range of individual abilities, creativity and dramatic skills. The show also embraces the school’s ethos of ‘building healthy relationships through respectful collaboration’.
Coláiste Eoin’s Lip Sync Show is the brainchild of teacher Liz Farrell, who is central to the whole school’s wellbeing programme and highlights the dedication, commitment and achievement of all their students and teachers.
A huge congratulation to Ms O’Meara, as well as Caoimhe and Deirdre who organised the event – Coláiste Eoin is looking forward to next year already!
